  1. I'm missing both "runner seals" on the drivers door and passenger/sliding door of my Ford connect T200L. I recently replaced the actual door seal on my passenger door however after I just took it to the jet wash, I noticed water slightly dripping in from the top of the door. I believe it's due to the runner seal missing and allowing hundreds of water to drop down onto the door seal and some drops came through. I managed to source the top seal for the drivers door off another connect at a scrap yard but I'm having issues finding the long runner which does both passenger and sliding door. Do I need to get them from scraped vans or can I buy replacements? I'm not even sure what to look for online to find them. Any help is much appreciated!!
  2. So I recently bought my 06 connect and the sliding door on the side has a leak. I'm converting the van so I was taking off the panels and looking for rust and I noticed a fair amount in the sliding door. I didn't think much of it, I just sanded and used hammerite to protect it (I did notice holes on the bottom of door for drainage so I made sure not to paint them). A few days later and it's raining heavily and I noticed rain dripping down the inside of the door. I've kind of worked it out and I believe it's coming in from the door handle. Can I fix this? I plan on insulating the door and don't want it to get soaked and hold water in the door. Can I silicone around the side of the door handle (outside) to fix it? Do I replace the handle? How does one go about this issue??
  3. Hi, just took my 2016 SWB Wagon to the dealership on 2/6/17 to have this recall work done, and the rear sliding doors now require excessive force to open them from the outside. This is the recall for the faulty pawl spring tab on the rear sliding door's latches. The recall number is 16S30 "SIDE DOOR LATCH REPLACEMENT". I would estimate it takes at least 4 times the strength to pull the outside door handle than it previously took. My pre-teen daughters now cannot open the doors. Has anyone else had this recall work done yet? I'm wondering if this is an issue with Ford's repair parts, or if my dealership has screwed up. Thanks for the feedback!
  4. Hello, Just got my 2013, five months after I ordered it. Something I noticed with the opening of my sliding side doors, they are limited to less than full opening. As far as I know this is the only one I have seen that does this. Wondering if anybody else's doors are limited? - or if it is some "feature on new vehicles", to make it easier to close the sliding doors for back seat occupants. Yes it is a XLT wagon (non-premium) 2013 - #149156 To describe how they are limited - there is a bumper in the rear mid level track, positioned approximatley 5 inches from the rear of the track. As well there is a bumper on the lower track, and the spring keeper (the thing that holds the door open) is positioned foward a little more than others. I do have 255 degree doors, but see another 2013 with 255 doors that do not have this limit, but it is a van (not wagon) All pictures I have seen in brochures and web, do not have this bumper showing. So the question is - do other Wagon owners have these limits on the sliding doors? If you ask if this limit can be removed, I thought about it, but slim chance. The bumper on the lower track is attached to a welded on piece inside the track, so any modification will leave bare metal, and rust will overtake it. Seems to me the lower track is totally different than normal. I hope to post some pictures when I can. Thanks -
