  1. Hi all im Kim and ive just become the owner of a 2012 ford connect 1.8.

I was wondering if anyone knows what the large red (assuming positive ,cus its as thick as a battery cable) is that runs at the top of the drivers side ,inside the rear?

It looks like its heading for the rear of the van but mine has been cut(for some unknown reason) Its right up near the roof level along with the other cables!

    Thanks

Is that why there has been no new activity?

  3. I am driving to Reno and then to the Bay Area in mid-January. I need snow chains or  preferably the snow socks. Having trouble finding info on where I can find ones that are thin enough to not rub and fit my tires - 215/55R16. Would appreciate any helpful advice or links.

There's enough space in the wheel well for snow chains.  Any conventional snow chain or cable sold in an auto supply store should work.  If you want thin, look for cables.
