  1. If it is a Diesel then it is definitely an interference engine, as for Gas engines if it is a twin cam it also will be an interference engine. If the belt or pulley failed there is most certainly mechanical damage to find.
  2. That does not look like an oil line it has something to do with the inter-cooler, as we do not have diesels over here I cannot access the parts breakdown . What is the model of your TC and what engine .
  3. Windshields are good till the next rock or hailstorm, so resealed, Re-seated or replaced it could be a short lived achievement!
  4. Not yet, but the issue is about to be a non issue for me. There is a crack progressing from the roof panel seam on the right side down to the right bottom corner. As my inspection sticker is due and it won't pass. The adhesion issue will now be up to Safelight!
  5. Well if you lived here that would not be much of a reason. This is what 2.5 years and 28000 miles looks like around here!
  6. That is cool mine is not a camper, it is more like a toolbox!
  7. Nice If you are putting that few miles on then the fuel mileage would not even be a concern. Finding a safe place to park would be higher on the list.
  8. As impressive as it is I am not holding my breath. Ford does not really want to sell the TC . After 2023 the whole van will be a VW and my level of interest in it will be much reduced!
  9. If a real set of doors with OEM style windows are between 125 and 200 dollars and are a bolt fit with a Rattle Can paint finish then the whole project can be accomplished . The only real question is how many hours of mental angst can a few hundred dollars avoid. The OEM doors will provide the best outcome from a vision stand point!
  10. not hard lots of clips did they break the plastic?
  11. A A set of Spring compressors would shorten the assembly enough to slip the fitting in
  12. Great Job. As a person who has had campers for 40 years. Having your own toilet is at the top of all my Camper lists.
  13. Hey You don't have to leave, The Maverick has the all wheel drive we all want. Stay around and let us know how the Maverick turns out!
  14. Wet and Dry compression test will tell alot.
  15. Can you control the transmission solenoids with the Forscan? If so see if they all cycle. It could be the PCM but a weak solenoid could also cause the condition. Waiting to hear more in August.
  16. This web sight has lots of info.(open the Screen shot in a new image and tap to enlarge)
  17. Sounds like the two solenoids that control 3 and 4 work in tandem with a speed sensor to allow the TTC to lock up. I wonder if there is a kit that contains all the solenoids . That would allow you to drop the pan and replace all the parts at once . The forscan will help.
  18. There must be a solenoid in the Transmission that controls the TCC, I don't have your diagram but there is a solenoid! You need an upper end Scan tool or Fortrans to make progress.
  19. Use this and treat it several days in a row.
  20. Do the wheel bearing first and the Cat and then take it for a drive, drain and fill the trans take a good look at the fluid and see if there are fillings or debris in the fluid. The wheel bearing noise and vibration are in the way of the trans diagnosis. Is the rest of the van in good shape , if so finding a replacement could be a real task.
  21. If you find the fuel line to the fuel rail and disconnect it you can jump the fuel pump relay and pump the fuel out. To bad you made a full tank of contaminated fuel. If you get it out you can put it through the lawn mower and dirt bikes. The damage that you will do is contaminate the converter which can get coated with the lead and shut down, the same goes for the O2 sensors , the rest of the engine will not care about the lead. If you reduce the performance of the converter it will set a code and you could need to replace the converter, not a small job on the 2015 with a 2.5. keep us posted.
  22. The parts are less than 150 and if it takes longer than 2 hours on a 2021 the mechanic is taking a nap. Around here that sort of rust on brakes is normal
  23. These will help with the rust, lots of short drives in the winter in Michigan will maximize the rusting.
