I'm almost certain it's near 8ft from taillight lens to extreme front of tire
it fit ok
the real trick is getting past the rear bulkhead on a angle from the ramp.

I actually think the idle is pretty quiet in my van - 2.5L standard engine - cargo version.
when you first turn it on, it's a little tinny sounding (I think that might be the cat converter) but once warmed up and with the windows closed, it's hard to hear the engine, almost like a hybrid.
I agree with windguy
my van (2014 LWB cargo)is so quiet sometimes I have to look at the tach when it's idling in driveway to confirm it's actually running
the other day I got sidetracked and the wife came in and asked why the van was running , it was so quiet I didn't even realize it was.

you can buy 3 alloy wheels for the price of one Ford steel rim for the transit ..........................WTF !
even the plastic hubcap is over $80 each ....ouch !
-
it uses the van brakes to try and sort out the trailer sway . It works sorta ok , but don't expect miracles when your trailer is doing the freeway dance of death .

Were you able to determine what the smaller threaded holes are in the 2015 year cargo area and along the side door openings?
I've discovered the larger holes are M10x1.5mm but I am stumped on what the other numerous smaller threaded holes are.
M6x1.0

I live next door to where it's crazy cold like vermont , in NH !that makes sense but mine is more than warm. I'd call it pretty hot, too hot to leave your hand on it for too long, unless you live in some crazy cold place like Vermont
and I can't touch the side of console with bare skin when the air is on heat and floor vents , it's really friggin hot !
