  1. Ordered a model-specific Brodit phone holder base and Arkon-type swivel mount for my existing third party wireless charger/holder. Here's the base on Brodit website. It clicks into existing console/vent gaps and does not require any tools to install. Had Brodit bits in all my cars, because it don't leave a mark when removed for selling the car. The phone is a bit too near the steering wheel due to the base-swivel-holder combined thickness but manageable. If you take the base and phone-specific holder from them it's going to be much thinner.
  2. I would have Ford figure this out as it's under warranty. My old diesel TC from 2006 ate engine mounts for breakfast and clunked every time but this car is way too new for anything like this.
  3. It may be because of the 3rd row option and its accessibility. You can easily climb to the back if there are only two seats in the middle.
  4. The hit-and-run type posters usually post 3 times total (before disappearing) regarding their particular issue and never search older posts or topics on the same issue, even if the topic is on page one.
  5. There are plenty of aftermarket wheels available. Most FWD Ford, Volvo ja Jaguar wheels fit.
  6. We get it, we get it. Beautiful wheels, btw.
  7. That depends on the installation. Most factory CNG machines have a small petrol tank just for backup. If yours has an add-on CNG tank then it is perfectly usable for both with an extended range. There's no disadvantage to using petrol fuel other than what you mentioned. I'm running LPG and it's roughly half the cost of petrol use. Fuel price is .476 vs 1.046 per liter as of today.
  8. My 1.6 is LWB so it's just a marketing issue.
  9. Quality UV-laminated print will last for 5+ years, no discoloration.
  10. Me neither. Stuff's always rolling on the floor.
  11. I'll be relining mine soon. Tar mat first, then aluminum composite plates on top. Should protect the bare metal parts from dents from inside out. Should also help with noise levels.
  12. Most have barn doors here. Liftgates are rare and exclusive to passenger vans.
  13. Ok, looked at some detailed pics, looks like these are just hooks for grocery bags. The same one is in the middle console, passenger side of the front seat.
  14. No it's not possible. Mazda has 2.3 for the turbo, 2.5 is a stroker for easy going.
  15. My Mk1 had OEM storage bins with nets there.
  16. 10K mile interval is perfectly ok. The new fullsize Transit has 30K mile service intervals for diesel engines and diesel has much more load on the oil. So with today's oils a gasoline engine will do just fine at 10K. I did 10K intervals for my 2006 diesel and it hadn't consumed a drop of oil until the day I sold it. Used Ford-spec quality oil only (Motorcraft/Fuchs/Valvoline/Motul).
  17. TC are filled with fully synthetic in the factory. No need for initial change, just normal schedule.
  18. The recommendation for not towing is just related to the Focus engine/transmission combo Ford found in the parts bin for the US model. The body is perfectly good for towing so you can install the lift with no issues if you have room for it.
  19. Who cares, what the wife thinks of a man's van
  20. Interesting. I have noticed two weird faults: sometimes speakers don't make a beep, back on after power cycle sometimes, when switching on the headlights, the radio console is completely dark, lights up when adjusting the dash illumination
  21. Are there anything on satellite that isn't available in iTunes/RSS/Spotify/Google Play for free?
  22. Haven't heard of any Connects with a separate factory amp, so most likely your head unit is integrated. You just got the best reason ever to upgrade your stereo
