Leaking windows

Recommended Posts

Anyone else having issues with this? My driver side rear glass and back window are both leaking water. It's being fixed under warranty but I thought that was a bit strange. Also just cracked a windshield so maybe my glass is just cursed

The way the roof panel is put in and the rack sits in a channel makes the installation of the rack, be it factory or aftermarket a challenge.

It is good they found and fixed it.

Windshields are just waiting for the next rock!

The plugs for the vans without the roof rack are a step back from the Mk1 where they were screw-in type and tight. The new ones are single use clips and have no method of tightening. Just hope they sit tight enough to block leakages.

Yeah mine doesn't have the roof rack so I hope the plugs hold up. We have had a ton of rain since the 'fix' and no issues so far.  I'm glad I got it fixed before the warranty ran out, I'll be over 36k this week.
