  1. Can someone with a fold-flat seat post a pic of theirs folded down?
  2. Just confirmed that the MK3 Focus RS Tow Hook fits perfectly in the MK2 TC.
  3. Got the lights in that I posted earlier. It's like daylight at night! I have one left to install. I'm waiting for some cool looking buttons so I can have the two over the rear seats turn off and on as maplights in addition to turning on and off when the doors open. LOVE THEM!
  4. I have the same issue with mine, and I have the car doors.
  5. I know I'll technically loose a seat, but I never have three in the back seat, but is it possible to put he 2nd row captains chairs from a long wheelbase connect into a short wheelbase? I have access to a set cheap and they're the matching color. I think they look a ton better and are way more comfortable. Is this possible?
  6. It's been on the list for months. Keeps getting pushed for other higher priority vehicles :-(
  7. Found these LED lights on eBay. They're very low profile as well. For only $32.00, I might have to give them a shot.
  8. I'd like a set for my rear cargo doors!
  9. I live a block from Borla Performance's R&D facility, and I work them all the time. My 2016 is on their R&D list for a full cat-back :-)
  10. I've never gotten more than 22mpgs on roadtrips... I've got a lead foot, so a BBK reducing MPGs isn't going to deter me much.
  11. You inspired me to dump my 18" Fusion wheels for ST wheels :-)
  12. I've got a MOBArmor phone holder and I've mounted it to the small window on the drivers door. Works perfect, and the magnet is incredibly strong. I've taken my connect offroad and had no issues. Great placement. I'll get a pic later.
  13. A quick google search got me this image of one installed and I'm very pleased with how it looks! Still not sure what that slot is for over the hazard button is, and I'll probably have to buy it from the UK to fill the hole, but I'll take it. I also noticed that this unit does not accommodate the airbag light, but.... I don't really care about that. If anything, I'll tap into the OEM one, and add some LED indicator lights.
  14. I hate my factory stereo. It's a 2016 XLT SWB Wagon without Navigation and I'm looking to put in an aftermarket head unit and I'm sorely disappointed with the face plate adapter available. I first saw , in person, the Metra/Scosche kit installed in a XL Cargo van with a Double DIN touchscreen head unit at SEMA last year. I wasn't impressed. A few things caught my attention that I really didn't like. 1. The angle at which the head unit is placed. If you've seen these installed, you'll notice that the head unit is significantly tilted back. It looks awkward and it is prone to glare since it technically sits forward of the top of our IMAX windshields. Anything overhead is perfectly reflected to your face. Also, depending on the time of day, the sun will be beating down on your screen and also, again, reflect in your eyes. With the overhead warehouse lights at SEMA, this was painfully obvious. 2. The fit and finish: While it seems to visually fit just fine, the finish is slightly off, and looks out of place. I was lucky enough to see three different TC's with three different finishes on this kit. The flat black, the silver, and a custom painted one. The only one that looked decent was the custom painted one in piano black. The other two just looked off and didn't match the rest of the finishes in the interiors of the vans they were in. The finish is really sub-par. Also, all three builders had the same complaint about the kit and the vents. They fit in very loosely and are prone to popping out with just a fir too much pressure when adjusting them. Where has the quality gone? 3. The overall design: They just look like a quick afterthought. It's as if the designers took on this project and thought to themselves, 'no one is going to buy this, and those that do, won't care, so we don't care'. Even the crap I've seen from China for similar vehicles has a better design aesthetic. There's too much negative space in the design and just looks boring. For a minivan/cargo van, this thing has a very cool looking dash board, so when you add something like this in there, it furthers it out of place in our interiors. I came across an alternative that looked promising at first, While browsing eBay UK, I noticed that the adapters that they have look different. There's just a hair more thought put into the design and it makes a massive difference in the overall look. I can't speak to the quality since I haven't seen one in person, but I'm going to hold out hope. Also, with this UK version, the recess for the head unit looks to be tilted back forward a bit. It will most likely still tilt back, but hopefully it's enough of a difference. My only concern for fitment is the holes at the bottom center where in the North American TC's, we have the hazard button, and airbag light indicator. On the European version, there is the same hole for the hazard lights button, but I'm not sure what the hole is for above it. I'll find out soon enough. I've ordered one and I'm going to give it a test fit, and I'll continue to research what that second hole is for.
  15. THe JDM version is more of that Fast and Furious whistle, where as this is pshhhh sound. I personally love and first fell in love with the sound on my Focus ST.
  16. I've looked into so many part numbers for several different Ford vehicles, and I've come to realize, that the front brakes on the 15+ TC are Focus Brakes, which means any big brake kit for the Focus will work on the TC. Pumaspeed has the Focus RS Brembo brake upgrade kit for only $650, but you need to have an 18" wheel or larger, and if it's an OEM 18", like a stock FOcus ST Wheel, you'll need a 5mm spacer to clear the caliper. I plan on going for the RS brakes in the future, but there are other, more pressing mods to do first.
  17. If you're in it alone, you can lay at an angle and be fully stretched. I do it in my SWB all the time, but it's just me and my dog. With the back seats in, it's nearly impossible to find a comfortable sleeping position, and if you flip the seats up, the latches stick out. I tend to move a lot when I sleep, and the one time I tried sleeping in the back with the seats flipped up, I whacked my head pretty good. For those times where I need the rear seats in, but also need to sleep in the van, I have an air mattress that fits over the back seat, and includes parts that fill the footwell, so it's larger. I have to curl my legs, but It's better than any other alternative I've seen or tried.
  18. I've just started to modify my connect, and I've started with just a couple of small things under the hood. 1. Focus RS Air Box: Before anyone goes and points out that the lid dosen't seal to the bottom of the hood, look at the K&N air filters with the open ends, same effect, hot air. Simple fix, drive faster. lol. It is a very noticeable increase in throttle response and overall performance. Probably less than 5hp, but still noticeable. I've also noticed about a 3mpg increase since the installation which includes a K&N Air filter. Price: ~$60.00 Link: http://www.trueblueracingparts.com/16-FORD-FOCUS-RS-AIRBOX_p_555.html The air box comes with an OEM paper air filter, but any 2012+ ford focus air filter will work as they are all the same. Standard, ST, RS, all identical. Pick your poison. 2. Mountune Silicone Induction Hose: The red thing. Didn't really notice any real increase with this, but just by observation alone, this piece will create far less turbulence than the OEM rubber corrugated hose. I say it adds visual horsepower, because we all know, red stuff under the hood means power. lol Price: ~$69.00 Link: https://www.mountuneusa.com/mountune-High-Flow-Induction-Hose-Focus-ST-p/2363-ih-blk.htm 3. Fiesta ST Engine Cover; It was a direct fit. I hated the original engine cover. So boring. Since it's the identical engine as the FiST anyways, less the tune, might was well wear the proper hat. Price: ~$45.00 Link: https://www.powerstrokeplus.com/oem-parts/ford-engine-cover-c1bz6a949b?origin=pla&gclid=Cj0KEQjwmcTJBRCYirao6oWPyMsBEiQA9hQPbu8PPdPHVm4Xbt085j2FpE4qswgd8lHAapEyIMiWqOUaAifB8P8HAQ 4. Boomba Bypass Valve Adapter for Fiesta ST: Simple and easy install with only three bolts. I didn't even have to remove the wheel to get to it. Now my van goes PSSSHHHHH and everyone that hears it looks so incredibly confused. I love it! I will say, that since the bypass valve is electronically controlled, it does go off a bit too much. It's sensitive enough to blow off in my driveway in the morning at idle when it goes from cold to warm cycle. Turbosmart does make one for the Fiesta ST that will also bolt up, but converts it to vacuum controlled versus electronic. Price: ~$85.00 Link: http://www.boombaracing.com/1-5-1-6-ecoboost-engine-50-50-blow-off-valve-adapter-bov/ From what I've gathered, I can see that it's a Fiesta ST Engine in a Focus engine bay. More parts are on their way, but I won't post until I confirm fitment.
  19. Anyone have a pic of one other than a stock ford image? Also, I need part numbers. I work at a dealership and can't seem to find part numbers for these bins. I'd like to price out how much it would be to add these to my TC.
  20. Anything from a 2013+ Ford Fusion, Ford Escape 2013+, 2012+ Ford Focus (Including ST & RS) and you'll be fine. They all fit without issue.
  21. I got some answers from them via message on facebook, but it just created new questions which have been left unanswered. From what I gather, the Vans/Parts are only available in the UK, and only available as a complete vehicle, no parts separate. VanSport (A subsidiary of M-Sport) will be coming to the US/North America in the next few months. Since I was still Transit-less, I asked if I should wait until they setup shop to purchase one since I wanted the M-Sport kit, or move forward with purchasing one now to secure one of the few remaining 2016 Ecoboost Transit Connects at local dealers. "Move forward with your plans" was their response, so I'm hopeful that they will be offering parts separate.
  22. Looks great! Very OEM+ look which I love
  23. THose wheels look great on there! They look familiar lol:
