  1. Has anyone added a factory keyless entry pad on their 2010-13 FTC van w/o issues? I want to add one on my van but have seen 2 different part numbers and something about 2014 or 2015 FTC van being compatible?. I have the factory keyless entry FOB (three channel) like other 2010-13 owners and single channel (single button) Ford add on remote start. Any suggestions and thanks in advance.
  2. Thanks for the information, I guess I could try wiring them into the front speakers but I wouldn't want to blow out the audio circuit. I can try G B L's suggestion. It looks pretty straight forward. Scott
  3. Thanks for the information, its much appreciated. I thought about putting speakers in the sliding doors, but I don't see a sock or wiring boot to hide the speakers leads for them. I am pretty picky when it comes to my vehicles and want my stuff to look stock and clean. I will try adding sound absorning material to the interior to see if it changes the sound. I wonder if I can put a factory CD radio in my 2010 FTC like you have in your vehicle? I haven't received any replies yet or found one for sale yet. Thanks again for your assistance. Scott
  4. I have a 2010 Ford Transit Connect factory radio with CD player (6000 series). The radio has 2 front door speakers only. I would like to possibly add rear speakers and wire them into the factory radio. My dilema is this, I understand that the factiory radio has only 2 outputs for the front speakers, rear speakers were not available till 2012 I think. 1) Has anyone added rear speakers to their Connect, after removing the headliner there are 3 speaker openings. 2) Which opening do the speakers go into (1, 2 or 3 with 1 being towrds the rear and 3 being towards the front) 3) Can you wire the rear speakers into the front speakers or do I need to upgrade to an aftermarket radio with 4 outputs 4) Has anyone installed a 2012 Ford Factory radio with success (Ford Fusion or Milan style). I know I have many questions. Any and all assistance would be greatly appreciated as I would like to have rear speakers with minimal work if possible. Scott
  5. Do you still have this radio for sale and can you advise if it has 2 or 4 speaker output? I believe itss the same as mine for my 2010 Ford Transit Connect with 2 front speakers only. Thanks again for you assistance. Scott
  6. I have a 2010 Ford Transit Connect XLT and it has only 2 front speakers with Ford 6000 CD player. Does anyone know if it has rear output leads for rear speakers, the factory location of the rear speakers if it was equipped ? I know of other years after this have 4 speakers but am not sure if I have to change the radio head or can use my existing one. I know I can't install the speakers in both sliding doors as their is no electrical sock / boot for the door, only power locks. Any help or direction would be appreciated.
  7. I purchased a Roesta kit that is made for the Ford TC platform. The kit includes a integrated rear camera with color monitor that replaces the factory mirror, the camera replaces the license plate light to the right and comes with all wiring. I purchased the kit from a dealer in MI for about $300.00, it was very easy to install and powers from the reverse circuit and ground from the chasis inside the tail lamp assembly. Roesta is a provider to the major automotive companies. I will post pictures soon and if anyone is interested message me and I will provide all details including contact name, part number, etc.
  8. Hello to all members, I signed up for this forum after purchasing a 2010 Ford Transit Connect XLT for my 1st business vehicle (SGN Mobile Electronics). My reason for joining this forum is to gain knowledge, next work with others about possible problems, seek resolutions and personal insight. I have background in vehicles with mechanical and electrical but am always learning new things everyday including networking with others.
