  1. I have them in my 2015, one at each corner of the 3rd row when folded.
  2. It's very simple to do a basic setup to charge the batteries off the stock alternator. You can use an IBS relay and appropriate wire size for the run (there are calculators online for that) but I would run in line fuses at each end of the setup. https://www.sierraexpeditions.com/index.php?l=product_detail&p=2193
  3. In my wagon the lever to fold the front seat is on top next to the head rest.
  4. I might carpet my next setup but this is going as is.
  5. I built this to replace the rear seats in my wagon, its made from 1/2" Baltic birch ply and mounts to the stock holes for the rear seats. Its located in Phoenix and is free to who ever might want it. The drawer sildes are rated for 250# and are 36" long and will pull out with only the right rear door open. The mounting holes on top are spaced for an ARB fridge slide.
  6. I miss my awning, I need to get one for my van. One of the best things I did to mine was adding led lights to it.
  7. I have the 50Qt ARB and have had it about 7 years, I ran it off 75 watts of solar panels on a deep cycle battery in my Land Cruiser before getting my Transit. It is a good size for a family of three and a dog. They only made the 50 when I got mine so it was an easy choice for me. I dont know how far you looked but the 37 and 50 share the same foot print so you will not save floor space going smaller. I had to learn how to rotate new items into the fridge when shopping on the road, I never use a cooler camping anymore.
  8. I have an ARB fridge in mine but no solar yet. I had solar with the same fridge in my Land Cruiser for years. I found 75 watts for panels was enough to keep my second battery fully charged every day. When I install solar on the van I will do 100 watt with a pwm controller along with a deep cycle battery for the fridge.
  9. Die Hard Platinum are made by Odyssey, great battery if they will fit. Say away from the Optima stuff, they are very low quality now.
  10. Good to know others turn on with no key in it. I will wait and see what happens and check to see if the dome lights are on or off next time it happens.
  11. Thanks, that sounds like a possible cause. I will have to keep an eye on it. The other question for anyone who can test it, if you push the power button on the radio with the key out and van not running what happens? Mine turns on.
  12. So this has happened to me twice, I part turn off the car get out and go do what ever and when I come back to the van the radio is still playing when I get in. First time it was about 2 hours second time about 30 mins. Anyone else have this issue? I have a 2015 with sync and XM. Also I can turn on the radio when the car is shut off and the key is out, this is possible with the doors locked or unlocked.
  13. Yes its an odd blind spot. I have issues with not being able to see turn signals on car in the lane next to me because of the a pillar.
  14. Do you have any experience with this setup? Looks good to me if it works well and is easy to setup as a diy
  15. Good looking start. What is that thing mounted on the PS panel above the access panel?
  16. I didn't get notification of replies to this tread so sorry for being late. I plan on using foam to fill the gaps on the sides once everything else is complete. The slides came from Rockler and the latches from Amazon. It will be carpeted once completed. Yes it is mounted to the holes where the third row seats bolt down.
  17. I love having all the room in my wagon but dont like the lack of storage. So I had a plan to build a platform and drawer combo. The top is 43" wide and 36" deep with 250lb drawer slides, there are 2 storage totes on the drivers side and their messurements are 25" x 17-9/16" x 9". the platform is about 2" lower than the second row folded down as in the pictures, i will be building a small box to bridge the gap between the starge and seat then having a 2" foam cussion made so my dogs have room to lay back there.
  18. Unlock the ends, pull out on the black cap and twist to loosen. Do both sides before you try to remove, mine took a smack with my palm to free them.
  19. On my 2015 there is a speed volume setting, it automatically raises the volume while driving and lowers it when stopped. I thought mine volume was low until I adjusted that setting.
  20. I got the rear doors done over the past weekend, very easy to get the 4 panels off and get the deadener installed. I will be slowly working my way forward, its not the best time of year here to be working outside. I will try to take a few pictures as I continue.
  21. Good catch. I would guess it's a lot more than $80. Where are you looking this up? The Ford parts site?
  22. Whats the part number for this and know the best place to order one?
  23. I plan to sound deaden all the doors on my van, I have not tried to pull the sliding door panels yet. Any tips on how to remove them?
