  1. Search the forum, I've seen a few threads about it along with pictures of ramps.
  2. The NYC Transit Connect taxi's have a window in the side sliding door. It's 2 panels and one slides back over the other. I've thought about trying to find out if its aftermarket, or part of the TC Taxi Package. I just haven't had a chance to check.
  3. I use mine for my photography business transporting equipment to shoots. The rest of the time it's my daily driver for personal trips, family, etc.
  4. I bought a set of 4 different ones on e-bay. From what I remember there were many options available.
  5. Congrats on your new TC! I also have a 2012 in the same color. I also originally had wanted the Noisette or the Mica one, but neither was available around here as a Premium. I also have the rear view camera, backup sensors, heated windshield, and bluetooth. I would have liked sync but again couldn't find one with it. I've had mine around 11 months and am very happy with it.
  6. I have a 2012 I got last December with heated windshield. I haven't had any issues with it at all. Once the sun was reflecting at a sharp angle and I could see the wires glistening, but it wasn't enough to bother me or impair vision. I love it on days when my windshield has frost on it since it defrosts it well before the car is even warmed up. It's also helped on mornings where dew keeps forming as I drive and by keeping it on prevents it from happening. I'd imagine if I had to replace it I'd need a ford dealer and not the normal glass replacement companies, but I'm not sure. I went to some dealers and also got internet quotes. They ranged from like $300. off sticker to $1200. off sticker. I ended up with $1100. off and a good trade-in price for my mini-van. This TC was loaded and had more of what I wanted than the dealer that was slightly less, so I took it.
  7. Welcome to the TC World! I just got mine this past December and am very happy with it.
  8. Which model scanguage is that? What is required to hook it up the TC? I have a 2012 XLT Premium.
  9. I've had mine for about 4 months and most weekends am sliding equipment cases across it. So far no signs of wear. Today I saw on the back lip some slight shedding from it, but very little. I did help to also quiet the ride down.
  10. I had also been looking for something, but then gave up. I had wanted a cargo cover for there or a shelf. I'm p[lanning on making my own. I was going to get 2 pieces of plywood and put a hinge between them so it folds up when removed. I'd carpet it and just lay it in those slots.
  11. There are some posts further down the forum of people pullung trailers that are large. You can just unscrew the back seats from what I read. It uses Torx head screws. I'm thinking like 1 of them, but I forget.
  12. I also started getting squeaks from the rear of mine. There were just at slow speeds going over a normal semi uneven road, into a driveway, etc. I have a 2012 XLT premium and only 5000 miles on it. The dealer lubed all teh bushings, and other things (don't have the sheet by me), and the problem is gone.
  13. After I turn off my ignition, i push the radio button and it does turn on. When it goes through its startup, right after it says Ford Audio it says 1 hour. I assume that means it will stay on for 1 hr. I sat in my car waiting to pick someone up and I was over 20 min and it was still on.
  14. I also have a 2012 XLT Premium. Once I shut the key my radio turns off and the windows don't operate.
